About RoadCadet
A driving log built for the months between getting a permit and testing for a license.
A learner driver working toward a license has to prove something bureaucratic — a state-mandated number of supervised hours, a chunk of them at night, held for a minimum stretch of time on a permit — using nothing more rigorous than whoever was in the passenger seat remembering to write it down.
RoadCadet turns that into one running, on-device record: log a drive in seconds, watch total and night hours climb toward the state's actual targets, see which requirement is actually standing between now and test day, and hand the examiner — or the DMV, or the family — a clean, signable log at the end, all without an account or a signal.
What we believe
Everything runs on your device
No account, no backend, no third-party sync service. The optional iOS iCloud mirror goes through your own iCloud, never a server we run.
Works with no signal
Logging a drive in a rural area with zero bars works exactly like logging one at home.
Your data belongs to you
No analytics, no telemetry, no ad SDKs. A one-tap, unambiguous way to delete everything, anytime.
One codebase, both stores
iOS and Android from a single build, so the app looks and feels native and correct at every size, light and dark.
A logging tool, not a legal authority
State hour, night-hour, and holding-period targets are bundled defaults you can edit. RoadCadet never claims to be an authoritative source on licensing rules — acceptance of any log is always up to the licensing authority you deal with.
